Silent Night

Sunday evening the clouds dispersed
The sky was clear but it seemed so cursed
She sat down on the porch just staring at the stars
Hoping the calm quiet evening will heal her scars

The streets were empty, all the lights were out
Her thoughts were the only thing that was loud
Few cars passed by one by one
She decided to just wait for the sun

Finally sunrise came, it was time for a brand new day
Oh how she wished she could just play
By play, she meant being in serenity
Just to keep her mind from experiencing insanity
